By John Gilmore. "True Crime Series Number One" on "The saga of Charles Schmid, the notorious 'Pied Piper of Tucson,'" of whom I confess I had not heard until this hit the shelves (although the case is the subject of numerous anxious films -- and, in part, Oates's "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been").
This collectible magazine-size paperback from the mid-nineties is in okay shape -- some foxing inside, cornerwear, and the plastic cover seal is feathering somewhat. But you don't see these often and the format is unique. A nice pickup.
