By Miriam Allen deFord. "An award-winning crime writer presents the surprising TRUTH behind the legend of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow -- a tale written in blood across our country's most violent era!" The award was an Edgar, for a book about a political murder in Restoration England (I think?); someone should really write a book about deFord, who was a Fortean and lived in a hotel until her death at age 86, but today we're here to talk about this late-'60s paperback, which may have been rushed into print to capitalize on the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.
This Ace paperback is in okay, not great shape for its age: some mild cover damage and a couple of creases; the cover at the back looks almost worn away at the top, and there’s some kind of…puncture that carries through nearly to the front of the book; the spine has a faint crack, but sits straight; pretty advanced page toning, and a remainder mark at the top page edges.
