By Thomas M. McDade. This early compendium of American true crime proves that our cultural obsession with the genre is not recent...and that criminals have not gotten all that much smarter in the last few centuries.

I hate to part with this one, but that's the gig, so: this rarity is a stated first, some edgewear to the jacket, which is faded towards the top front and on the spine; the back flap has a split of a couple of inches. The boards themselves are reasonably healthy, with a mild warp to the back cover, and the spine also has a very mild cock. The back of the jacket is very spotty, too. Visible foxing to flyleaves front and back, but inside, clean pages with some toning, a few smudges to the page edges. Noticeable but not repellent old-book smell which may clear off after a few days out of wrapping, and I will update this description in that event, but if you have questions about that in the meantime, please email!

Folks don't tend to let go of their McDades for under a hundo, but for you, dear reader, I'll do it.
