By Martin Fido. The book that brought the late Fido widespread recognition as an expert on "the Whitechapel fiend." The book itself isn't terribly rare, but in this British edition and with this cover design, it isn't seen very often.
The paperback looks vintage -- rubbing to the front of the spine; a couple of nicks to the cover edges, and edgewear; toned pages, foxing at the top of the pages, and a couple of spots to the leading edges as well -- but for all that, the spine is very straight and uncracked. A perfectly fine reading copy for a case completist!
