By Joan Barthel. “Did Peter Reilly murder his mother? A classic case of good and evil in a small New England town.” VERY seventies design and fonting here — and an intro by William Styron. This story became one of the myriad true-crime TV movies starring the late Brian Dennehy.
This 1976 hardcover looks its age, especially the jacket — which is perhaps more tape than paper at this point, and is taped to the inside of the boards. Readable inside, although there’s foxing to the page edges. Still, not a bad pickup if you’re in the market for this contemporary design narrative.
