By Aphrodite Jones. Look, what we didn't know 25 years ago was a lot, but Jones still misgenders and dead-names Brandon Teena all over the place, while promoting the trans-panicky "sexual deception" ahead of Brandon's murder in the subtitle. That's ugly, and this book won't be for everyone as a result, but I suppose it's worthwhile as a window into how the case used to be spoken of, and what we still need to work on.
The physical book itself is in passable shape: edgewear, a cracked spine, and a bit of a bend at the top. But the price is right to read and recycle.
