By Thomas Thompson. This story is classic true crime: a black widower (possibly); a vengeful father (allegedly?); a legal precedent (Texas's first "murder by omission" indictment...basically, the inverse of Good Samaritan statutes as I understand it? not a lawyer!); and a story so complex and twisty that ID producers and podcasters can't resist it.
The paperback has some shelfwear, a faint number on the cover, some nicks and rumples to the covers, and page toning -- but the pages are tight and it'll get the job done.
