By Linda SIllitoe & Allen Roberts. "With a forensic analysis by George J. Throckmorton." Only one? Because the Mark Hofmann/Salamander-letter case needs a bomb expert AND a rare-documents person. This book is less known but, in my opinion, the superior prose take on the case.
This specific hardcover looks sort of dicey based on the jacket -- extensive edgewear and tears, including to the inside flap (see pics), and a sticker on the cover -- and the spine has a very slight tilt, but the inside is just fine: the pages are clean and tight, no real toning, no marks or dog-ears. A good reading copy of a book that's a bit harder to find than you'd think.
