By Jack Dunphy. "A Memoir of My Life with Truman Capote." It's not exactly that -- it's fictionalized to include a priest's crisis of...something; much of what is legibly about Capote is in the Plimpton anyway -- but Dunphy's magical-realist writing is often breathtakingly lovely.
This somewhat rare hardcover isn't quite that pretty, but it's in nice readable shape: library-wrapped jacket; only mild page toning, a couple of pages dog-eared, but thanks to the deckle edge you can hardly tell.
