By Cliff Linedecker. That it's "From the files of THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER" goes a long way toward explaining -- but not excusing -- tasteless choices like 1) the tire tracks on the covers, 2) the front-cover photo that looks like an ad for a used Mercedes, and 3) the disastrous back-cover copy that talks about putting readers "behind the wheel" of the story. ...Guys! No!
The photos inside are bonkers in their own way; overall, the paperback is evidently used, with edgewear, a cracked spine, and some creases and small tears to the cover. But few books offer this extensive a menu of trashy branding in a single volume.
