By Dr. Joel Norris. The breathless jacket copy -- "He tortured his victims because he liked to hear them scream!" -- is a bit much, not least because the front cover looks misprinted thanks to baffling spacing; the author is apparently a "renowned" forensic psychologist, but thanks to the DIY feel of the design (and everything we know about Lucas's confessions), it's hard to take seriously.
"It's kind of hard to take this price seriously?" Well, here's the thing: the paperback is in pretty good shape -- some scuffing to the edges, but the spine is straight and uncracked, no page markings -- and it's relatively rare in the wild.
