By Harry N. MacLean. The Edgar-winning story of the citizens of Skidmore, MO finally getting mad as hell at Ken McElroy, and not taking it anymore. A well-written minor classic in the genre...and with the addition of this one, I think I now stock every iteration of the cover design? (This edition has a mid-aughts epilogue and "previously unpublished photos.")
This one is in fine shape for a reading copy -- uncracked spine and bright pages, but the printing seems to be a bit off-center (the spine line appears to be upside-down too), the corners have some bumps, and there's whiskering of the back cover's lefthand edge as well; see pics. The bottom righthand corner of the front is slightly mushed. But it's nice and sturdy.
