By George Waller. An exhaustive overview of the case -- it weighs more than two pounds -- with illustrations, diagrams, and photos (you've likely seen most of them before; Waller likely got to them first).
The jacket design is so simple and elegant, it's a pity this particular jacket isn't in better shape -- splits and tears at the various corners abounding -- but it's done its yeoman duty in protecting the boards and spine, which have some mild edgewear but look pretty good for age 60. This second printing does have that old-book musty scent even before you open it, which for some readers is a blandishment. The book is quite straight and the pages are very firm, with the expecting toning. A nice find for the case's students, for yourself or as a gift.
