By Lowell Cauffiel. I'm sure Jack Olsen meant well, but this blurb is so florid as to be counterproductive, in my opinion -- the jacket copy straight-up calls the death of Alan Canty at the hands (partly) of a pimp named Lucky a "lurid murder," so to invite comparisons to Capote, Wambaugh, and Bugliosi is...a choice.
A well-loved paperback with visible wear and stamps, cracked and leaning spine, but it'll get the job done and you can recycle it after.
