By Piu Marie Eatwell. A book whose jacket copy involves an exhumation and identity theft is blurbed by Better Homes and Gardens? I'm kind of into it! Eatwell's charmingly direct title refers to T.C. Druce, alleged to have faked the death of "his middle-class doppelgänger" after tiring of his double life as the 5th Duke of Portland.
If you're intrigued, this paperback is in very nice shape -- mild page toning, a couple nicks to page edges, but otherwise straight as a pin, and with a classy green spine that'll let the book lead a double life of its own on your shelves as "mere history."
