By Howard Kazanjian & Chris Enss. "The amazing true story of the men on Wyoming's death row in 1911 who believed they'd be granted reprieves as long as they kept winning baseball games." Gotta love a true-crime book that's blurbed by George Brett -- and my dad, for whom I got the book for his birthday, does love it (and is not known for his patience with books that bore him, FWIW).
Kazanjian -- 9 days younger than my pops, as it happens -- is a producer by trade, including little pictures like Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi. Enss turns up as an author talking-head in stuff like Legends & Lies' Old West episodes. Lot going on here in this brand-new PB straight from the warehouse.
