By Joseph Wambaugh. A vintage paperback from the era of color-edge pages, from shortly after Wambaugh's classic "true story of two young cops and two young robbers" -- which the Times called "more ambitious than In Cold Blood" -- became a movie. It's a second Dell printing from 1979.
There's the expected shelfwear and page toning, but it’s the rare copy of this PB with an uncracked spine. There’s also a quote from a previous owner inside the front cover, but relatively low "mileage” overall; a solid reading copy.
