By Marshall Kilduff and Ron Javers. The authors were staff correspondents for the SF Chron, and Javers was an "ambush witness and victim." The pictures are not as stern as some, but still pretty harsh. I'm a fan of this cover design and the connotation of a Rorschach blot.
Not AS big a fan of the paperback's condition, as the cover has some creasing a couple of small tears (see pics), and there's toning to pages and cover and some small stains on the page edges. But the spine, while cracked, is straight and holding tight. This is a solid pickup as a roughly contemporary account of this tragedy.
