By Al Jennings. Did you know "Bill Porter," aka O. Henry, did time for bank fraud? Did you know that "erstwhile lawyer, bank robber, and Hollywood consultant" Al Jennings wrote a memoir of his friendship with Porter, that started when they met as lamsters in Honduras, and lasted through the time they served together, and beyond?
This 1921 H.K. Fly hardcover is without the lovely inset illustration of some other editions, but otherwise is in nice shape for a century-club member: a notch to the top front board, as shown, and some rubbing to the board corners; the page edges have dings; the spine leans a bit. But the pages are firm, and it's hard enough to find even in paperback reprints that you should grab this one.
