By Marshall Houts. On "father of courtroom medicine" Milton Halpern, whose more gruesome cases are hinted at on the back of this vintage PB.
The book itself looks pretty beat up -- corner- and edgewear pretty advanced, as shown; the spine looks chewed at the bottom; toned pages and some edge soiling, and previous owners' names pencilled on the flyleaf -- but the pages are snug; it's frumpy, but not fragile. A good enough reading copy of a sought-after oldie.
