By Sierra Crane Murdoch. "The true story of a murder on an Indian reservation, and the unforgettable Arikara woman who becomes obsessed with solving it -- an urgent work of literary journalism." Blurbed by a guy I went to uni with, oddly enough. Not that he remembers me, but you'll definitely remember this complex and deftly woven narrative.
A NYT Notable Book from 2020, this paperback is a bit worn: some waviness in places, bumps to the top spine corners, etc. Sits straight, though; snug pages, uncracked spine. A fine reading copy.
