By Aphrodite Jones. Look, what we didn't know 25 years ago was a lot, but Jones still misgenders and dead-names Brandon Teena all over the place, while promoting the trans-panicky "sexual deception" ahead of Brandon's murder in the subtitle. That's ugly, but I suppose maybe it's worthwhile as a window into how the case used to be spoken of, and what we still need to work on.
The physical book itself is in very good shape: the mildest of edgewear, but an uncracked spine, clean inside with no dog-ears, faint page tanning. A solid reading copy if it’s needed.
