By Jean Stein and George Plimpton. An oral history of the Robert F. Kennedy Sr. funeral train, it's one of my favorite books of all time. Perhaps not true crime, strictly speaking, but any excuse to carry this tome and to bring it into someone else's life.
This is a simply designed PB in average shape -- edge- and cornerwear; a cracked spine; page toning -- but it sits relatively square, pages snug, cover and spine not faded. A fine reading copy of a classic.
