By Jay Robert Nash. I'm not sure what turned me onto true crime, but the presence of this hardcover at eye level in the den growing up was not irrelevant. Kinda dated; kinda not great writing; still a stone classic.
This copy looks like the one my parents had, namely that it's been very handy for and loved by at least one household. The dust jacket is in better shape than you often see with this one…but still not great: edgewear and flaking, rubbing, especially at the corners. Some wear to the boards as a result, but clean and neat inside, minimal toning, no markings or dog-ears that I can see. A solid reading or research copy…or doorstop.
