In fact, in some of them Gary Heidnik looks downright normal. Reader, he really really wasn't. And I'm not saying books with this sort of breathless "marketing" are responsible for true-crime's historically trashy reputation, but...
The paperback shows some edgewear, with a cracked spine and mildly toned pages; a couple of pages have faint nicks at the edges. But said pages are tight; the book sits very straight. A solid reading copy.
