By Sasha Abramsky. "A Compelling Journey Through Disenfranchised America," per the cover, and I think bureaucratic/legislative interference with voting rights qualifies as a crime, don't you? Not to mention that the book tackles the problem of post-carceral citizens' rights.

This hardcover first is in nice shape -- neat jacket with minimal shelfwear; bright pages -- but the spine does have a pronounced lean, and there's some rumpling to the pages suggested a beach or bath visit.
