By Mark Baker. "Author of Nam and Women" is intriguing, as is the blurb from Elmore Leonard. The 1985 pub date means it's not terribly critical of its subjects, but its subjects kind of critique themselves, and it's an interesting window into how we thought about law enforcement back then, and how they thought about themselves.

The paperback is evidently used: creases and edgewear, a couple of notches at the top of the front cover, page toning. The inside of the front cover was remarried to the spine with scotch tape -- but the spine is uncracked, and it sits very straight. A decent reading copy.
