By Thomas T. Noguchi, MD with Joseph DiMona. Known as the "coroner to the stars," Noguchi is a leitmotif in numerous books and case overviews from the mid-sixties to the mid-eighties; this 1985 compendium is more a series of "takes" on big cases -- everything from Elvis to Custer to Jeffrey MacDonald -- than a crimoir, but I've tagged it both ways.
Elvis looks pretty peeved about my choices on the cover of this paperback, which has a couple of spine cracks, a mild twist, and page toning, but otherwise is a relatively trim copy.
