The breathless jacket copy -- "He tortured his victims because he liked to hear them scream!" -- is a bit much, not least because the front cover looks misprinted thanks to baffling spacing; the author is apparently a "renowned" forensic psychologist, but thanks to the DIY feel of the design (and everything we know about Lucas's confessions), it's hard to take seriously.
The paperback is in evidently pre-owned condition: a cracked spine that leans; edgewear and a couple of little notches/deep creasing to covers; toned pages with some crunched towards the back. Unmarked and readable, however.
