By M. William Phelps. Events have overtaken this 2008 account of the Cynthia George socialite-killer case, but if you don't Google, this is probably reliably standard Phelps product: a Dateline-y case, told with gusto, decorated with an author photo of mythic self-seriousness.
An uncracked spine, but this paperback isn't in perfect shape -- some edgewear, and some water damage towards the front of the book. Still, a sturdy reading copy to throw in your bag for a trip or commute.
