By Herbert S. Parmet. A 1980 biography of JFK that purported to tell “new” stories about Kennedy’s “grave” illnesses, ill-considered affairs, and more; subsequent revelations seem to have meant that this bio, once a “go-to,” fell beneath the horizon. Apparently the first of a two-volume set; this one covers Kennedy’s life up to 1960.
Some shelfwear to this sturdy paperback, plus a faintly cracked spine; some mild page toning inside as well. But sits straight, clean and neat inside — a solid reading or research copy.
