By James W. Clarke. "The Shocking, True Story of an Escaped Convict's Killing Spree." One of the best written and most suspenseful books I've read in the genre, so I'm thrilled it's back in stock. I have not seen either this "major motion picture" or the one starring Robert Mitchum as Tison (!) but I welcome any recommendations!
My recommendation is to grab this paperback; it's not in great shape -- edgewear; a one-inch tear in the cover at the base of the spine; a cracked spine with a slight lean; page toning -- but people hold onto this one, so grab this bargain copy while it's still around.
