By Dorothy Kilgallen. Kilgallen, in the mix on cases from Sam Sheppard to the assassination of John F. Kennedy to...Sinatra?, was one of the first 500 personages to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and her true-crime writing is now highly sought-after. You have to wonder how the genre would look if she'd stayed in it longer...
This hardcover is a 1967 stated first printing, with a better-kept dust jacket than you usually see with these: a few rips at the bottom of the jacket spine, some toning and scuffs, but comparatively crisp. Pages are snug; no markings or dog-ears inside that I could see, and only mild toning.
Copies of Murder One have been scarcer than usual the last year for whatever reason, so you might consider investing in this well-kept copy of a rare classic.
