By William Manchester. A 1964 PB edition of a book originally published in 1962, although this doesn’t appear to have gotten an update after Kennedy’s murder despite the valedictory tone of the back-cover copy.
A visibly worn copy, with rubbing, fading, and chips/edgewear to covers; marked page tanning; and a somewhat weak front hinge. Sits straight, though, and with the exception of a previous owner’s name on the flyleaf, it’s unmarked inside. A decent midcentury pickup.
