By Loretta Schwartz-Nobel. A massive case a few decades back -- I was about to compare it to the Baby M case; Schwartz-Nobel also has a book on that one -- that has fallen beneath the horizon in recent years. The case was seen in the 1991 TV movie Switched At Birth (starring, among others, Allison Mack; hmm). As of pub time, the Twiggs were still fighting Bob Mays for custody of their biological daughter; as of 2019, the case was still burbling up on TV newsmags. Hat tip to this cover art for the simple but devastating play on the oft-seen two-wedding-bands snap.
The book's in very good shape: dust jacket nearly pristine, pages tight and square, only a verrrry slight upward tilt to the front cover.
