By John Vaillant. “A True Story of Myth, Madness, and Greed” — namely that of logger-turned-activist Grant Hadwin, who (allegedly?) chopped down a legendary tree in British Columbia. Not sure how to tag this, frankly; “terrorism”?
I can definitely tag it “good reading copy,” because the PB is in decent, not great fettle — visible edgewear and evidence that it was used as a coaster, but sits straight, clean and readable inside.
