By Lawrence Schiller. Schiller's second book and his first in the genre, it's the "Exclusive Story by Susan Atkins," "Confessed participant in the murder." Are you muttering to yourself something along the lines of, "How many crimoirs did this lady need to write?" I think it's just this one and Child Of Satan, but even two does kind of seem like 1.75 too many.
There's also the fact that TKOST is a rarity, and this one's in okay shape, not great — a cracked spine that leans a bit; edgewear; some mild toning inside. Clean and not dog-eared, though, with snug pages. For advanced readers in Mansoniana, this is an excellent pick-up.
