By David Balsiger and Charles E. Sellier, Jr. “Secrets kept hidden for 100 years are now revealed” in this 1977 PB that promises “Shocking new evidence [as to] why President Lincoln was killed.” It did become a motion picture the same year, although “major” is overstating its case somewhat.
The book looks its age — edge- and cornerwear; a cracked spine; a sticker on the back cover; stamps from a previous stop; page toning — but it was a fairly big whoop for a minute there, and the pages are relatively snug and not dog-eared. A fine research copy.
