By Bernard B. Kerik. "New York City's 40th Police Commissioner," now paying off his debt to Trump for pardoning him by spreading the big lie about the "stolen" election of 2020. That said, this 2001 crimoir offers some interesting opposite-coast parallels to James Ellroy's background, if you can stomach the Giuliani-worship of it all.
Some edgewear to the hardcover's jacket -- and a snarkily low price sticker on the front -- but the pages are neat and straight (save the remainder mark on the bottom edge). A good reading copy.
