By Otis H. Gaylord. "He was the smoothest, deadliest killer of the bloody, gin-drenched Twenties" -- and while that quote on the back cover does not turn out to have been accurate, Jack Diamond's various crimes led to this novelization of the Warner Bros. film based on his life that starred Ray Danton. (There was also a band named Legs Diamond; if there's a book about them by this name, let me know!)
The paperback is a bit down at heel -- page toning, a bend to the bottom right corner, a tilt to the cracked spine -- but the art and design are classic mid-century. A nice pick-up.
