By Marshall Houts. “The Story of Dr. Milton Helpern and Forensic Medicine.” A first UK edition of Houts’s biography of Helpern, NYC’s chief medical examiner. (The title is a phrase often seen in autopsy theaters.)
No jacket on this 1968 hardcover, but it’s quite well kept, only slight rubbing to the boards, barely toned inside. Pages are snug and bright, book sits straight. A great reading or research copy.
