Consultant editor Paul Bahn. “How Human Remains Unlock The Secrets Of The Dead.” 2nd edition “revised & expanded.” A compendium of forensic archaelogy addressing “some of the most intriguing riddles of the ancient world,” including European bog bodies, the so-called “riddle of Tomb KV55,” infant remains in a Roman brothel, and much more. Probably only tangentially true crime, but readers with an interest in historic forensics will find something of interest in this large-format paperback.
Book shows some cornerwear and is a bit dusty from storage, but sits straight, with clean pages. A fine reading or research pick-up.
