By Arthur Train. Part of "The True Stories of Celebrated Crimes" series from McKinley Stone & Mackenzie; it's difficult for me to discern whether some of these publications were authorized or not. The title paper on the spine looks a bit makeshift.
The hardcover's in decent trim for a 1922 publication, though: some scuffs to the boards especially at the corners; some fading to the spine; quite a bit of page toning, and a few spots and stains from people reading it at lunch (?); but it sits straight and is perfectly readable. An interesting antique curio or gift for a historian.
