By Edward Bulwer-Lytton, Douglas Jerrold, and Thomas De Quincey. A slim 1925 hardcover that appears to be a collection of papers or treatises on the “fine” arts of felonious behavior.
This trim book is in about the condition you’d expect for a century old: a notch out of the bottom of the front cover; page toning; some faint old-book smell. Sits straight with snug pages, though, and it’s seldom seen. This is a solid reading copy.
