By Joseph Wambaugh. This is a nice later-printing paperback of Wambaugh's classic "true story of two young cops and two young robbers" -- which the Times called "more ambitious than In Cold Blood."
There's the expected shelfwear to the cover edges and corners, and some page toning; some pages are a bit wavy, probably from going to the beach or bathtub. But the spine is uncracked and straight, pages tight. A fine reading copy if you've never read this classic -- which people don't tend to let go of, so why not grab this one?
