By William H. Honan. I suppose that's one way of putting it...NYT editor Honan spent four years with Edward M. Kennedy, interviewing him, pressing him on "the trickiest political questions and the most delicate personal ones," including the '72 presidential race and how frequently he receives death threats.
The book looks its age -- edgewear; small nicks out of the top of the spine; foxing and toning inside -- but it's an interesting time capsule, and the pages are unbent and snug. A decent reading or research copy, somewhat seldom seen.
