By Jerry Allen Potter & Fred Bost. I didn't remember that Errol Morris blurbed this one, which was the pre-eminent "the Jeffrey MacDonald case was a frame job" text...before Errol Morris went and re-made the market with A Wilderness of Error. I DO remember reading this first, before Fatal Vision, and feeling like the Helena Stoeckley material was a real reach.
But case completists should have it on board, and you could do worse than this hardcover. The jacket has some shelfwear, particularly at the spine's top, but the pages are very clean -- and there's a bookmark between pages 88 and 89 that's so inappropriate, I feel like maybe it was on purpose. A very good reading copy.
