By William Manchester. Among the best accounts of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, very informative and free of conspiracy cobwebs. Not that the family was thrilled with it, but you can't have everything. The book was originally serialized in Look, and occasionally I do have those originals in stock; click the "JFK" tag to see what's available.
This is a Book of the Month hardcover whose jacket is noticeably damaged (see pics) -- including a rather unfortunate rumple across the author photo on the back. But the book itself is in perfectly fine, readable shape: a mild twist to the spine, but clean pages, no marks or dog-ears, and a nice vintage deckle edge.
