By Lucy Freeman. The Cardinal Edition of Freeman's look at William Heirens, aka "The Lipstick Killer," whom I don't think I've ever seen called "Bill" before.
This rare paperback got a library wrap at a previous stop, so most of the stickers you see are on the wrap, not the book; the book is in okay shape for a mid-fifties PB, but not great, as you can also see: advanced page toning, stains, a previous owner's name on the flyleaf, tape marks, water marks, etc. The front hinge is a bit loose as well. But the design is classic and the book is not TOO fragile given its age.
