By Mark Baker. "Author of Nam and Women" is intriguing, as is the blurb from Elmore Leonard. The 1985 pub date means it's unlikely to be critical of its subjects, but it's still an interesting window into how we thought about law enforcement back then, and how they thought about themselves.
The paperback is evidently used: creases and edgewear, a couple of notches at the top of the front cover, page toning. But the spine's uncracked, and it sits very straight -- a fine reading copy.
